Meet Kelly
The Mind Behind YaksMusic
A proud husband and father. I was told I had stage 4 melanoma that had spread to masses in both lungs in February of 2024. I threw a ton of things at it, on top of the immunotherapy. As of December of 2024 I was cautiously in remission. I continued to play hard ball on three teams (18+, 32+, 45+).
I mention this because a positive attitude and the desperation of fighting for my nine year old daughter and wife are what helped me get through! This challenge has also given me lots of perspective and material for songs! Some are quite personal.
